Through the eyes of a spiritual artist
Eufemia Restrepo currently resides in Studio City, California with her family. She is originally from
Colombia and came to the United States in the 80's. Her artwork portfolio includes abstract art collages of cut out colored paper from magazines as
she is very conscious of the environment she lives in, which has inspired her to recycle pages of magazines to
create her work that would have otherwise ended up in our landfills. Her collages merge beautiful colors together to create inspiring images
that are unique to each observer. The second part of her portfolio is the series of floating flowers, where she uses colored pencils, markers
and crayons on paper. These floating flowers seem to be of different women floating in the air showing off their wonderful colors and tastes.
The third part of Ufe's portfolio is the series of butterfly wings, where she uses pastels, markers, crayons and colored pencils on paper. The
butterfly wings are asymetrical with rich colors and backgrounds, their size and magnitud, demand the observer to study all the facinating details of the
wings that may have been missed if the wings were smaller.
